“Go small, go simple, go now” was something Larry Pardey said and it pretty much sums up how we feel about everything.
We grew tired of paying for a house which was much more than we needed, buying stuff we didn’t actually want to fill that house, and getting stuck having to work so much and so hard. It felt like we were trapped.
We embrace the concepts of minimalism. Take what you need. Taking too much is greedy and greed is basically the cause of all of the worlds biggest issues now.
We love the idea of the tiny house movement, and home farming, permaculture, and all of that sustainability stuff. Renewable energy is very important to us and when you add everything up, all roads seem to point to sailing.
We also want to travel and meet as many new cultures as we can, sharing all of our experiences along the way with as many people as we can.
It’s important for us to chase real experiences. Not touristy locations, or cruise ships and resorts. We want to avoid those places at all costs.
Does that all make sense?
